Game Battlefield V Review: Easily Forgotten!

Battlefield is one of the biggest FPS franchises in the gaming industry, a fact that is no longer indisputable. After being immersed in the present war for at least three series which at the same time proved how powerful the Frostbite Engine was as a base, Battlefield finally returned to classic war. The announcement and fantastic first trailer immediately made Battlefield 1's popularity at that time soar, inversely proportional to the main competitor - Call of Duty who insisted on its unpopular futuristic war theme. The trend was tried to continue with Battlefield V with the theme of the second world war, but the reception of gamers and fans was not as strong as imagined.

Apart from the fact that the release date is so crowded with giant games in the same month, the way DICE handles criticism in the first trailer commenting on the problem of historical accuracy in the gameplay is indeed quite unfortunate. This skepticism is further reinforced by the fact that the time to carry out a number of gameplay approaches that actually exacerbate the pace that should be fantastic, making the fight feel slow.

Fortunately, those of you who have read our preview article before seem to have gotten a little picture of what DICE is trying to offer in Battlefield V itself. One of the positive things we talked about was the fact that the sensation was far more refined than the beta version and also the RTX technology from Nvidia which made it feel more charming. The question now is whether these two things are enough?

So, what is actually offered by Battlefield V? Why do we call it an easy-to-forget game? This review will discuss it more deeply for you.

Plot

Battlefield V still provides a single player mode with 4 different scenarios.
DICE and Battlefield V should have the upper hand for this 2018 FPS game competition. Why? Because it is different from the main competitor - Black Ops 4 which decided to offer a multiplayer mode only, DICE still injects a single player mode for Battlefield V itself. This campaign mode is offered in the Battlefield 1 style, where instead of a continuous story being injected, Battlefield V will take you to 4 different battlefields in the same world war event.

There are four scenarios that you can take, from playing Senegalese troops who are actively involved in defending France for the sake of equality and recognition, there are scenarios that require you to play the Nazi army with their last Tiger tank, to a mission like Under the Flag - which positions you as a member of British forces trying to infiltrate Nazi headquarters in various different locations. As you can predict, this different story and character approach can end up making you have your own favorite scenario. Because it must be admitted, not all of them have the same quality, both in terms of gameplay and stories that exist.

Each scenario offers different settings and stories, of course.

But the gameplay approach now carries a more open world with a system like Far Cry.
Believe it or not, the number of four scenarios that he stretched does not make Battlefield V have a campaign mode that can be fairly long. You can complete all of them in about 3-4 hours depending on the level of difficulty, which usually ends with each scenario only containing about 2-3 different locations. Most scenarios also now emphasize Far Cry-style gameplay where you will be presented with a fairly open level, binoculars to check the location and mark enemies, and encourage you to finish stealth as well as possible. With a high level of difficulty because even though the characters are vulnerable at the Normal level, this is the most rational option. The rest? Enjoy story pieces in the form of cut-scenes to complete each scenario.

Gameplay for each calculated scenario is super short.

So it can be predicted, you will end up comparing these scenarios and choose the one that is the most favorite. Because it must be admitted, the quality of the story and the gameplay that is carried out does not feel "evenly distributed".
So, what challenges do each character have to pass? What kind of World War II scenario is what colored their motivation to be involved in this one big war? You can get these answers by playing this Battlefield V campaign mode.
